Meet Neal O'Farrell
Neal O’Farrell is one of the longest-serving security experts on the planet, 40 years and counting. He’s been involved in the fight against identity theft for 25 years and spent 10 years as head of the award-winning nonprofit Identity Theft Council.
He’s handled thousands of cases of identity fraud and was the first to teach an entire Police Department about identity theft 20 years ago.
Neal was an advisor to the Federal Communications Commission’s Cybersecurity Roundtable and the only expert invited to advise President Barack Obama’s Stock Act Panel, in 2013.
In 2015 he was honored as the first ever recipient of the Eigen Award, presented by the International Association of Certified Fraud Examiners at the headquarters of Wells Fargo Bank in San Francisco.
And most recently, he launched the non-profit Center for AI Crime, to explore the growth in use of AI in cybercrime and fraud, including the psychological impact on consumers and victims.
