Get to know a little more about our process

When we create a security awareness program for you, we have two main goals: to make it as effective as possible in reaching your awareness goals, and to make sure it reads and works as well in a few years as it does on the first day.

That’s why our process is important, and important to understand. And by sticking to it, it also helps to complete to project quickly and on budget.

Getting To Know You

Before we start creating, we want to find out everything we can about your organization, your culture, your industry, and your expectations. Who are your employees, what are your universal and specific threats and concerns, and what are you hoping to get from this effort.

We also want to know what other kinds of training your employees experience so that we can try to match our look, feel, and messaging as closely as possible to what they’re used to.

Your Policies And Rules

Our training is a unique blend of personalized and cause-focused messaging, interwoven with your specific security and privacy rules, policies, and expectations.

We want to know what those rules and policies are, if they differ from industry norms, and if they’re different for individual groups within your organization. We also want to know what the rules and policies are for non-employee audiences, like vendors, partners, suppliers, and consultants.

Writing The Scripts

This is where we begin to form the final product. We’ll take our existing content and messaging and weave in your rules and policies, your culture and language, and everything else that makes your workplace unique to you.

We’ll then share those first draft scripts with you so you’ll have a better idea of exactly what we’ll be saying on your behalf. And you’ll be able to see and edit that final messaging.

Your Brand And Image

To make your training look and feel as familiar as possible to your audiences, incorporating your branding and image are important. That could be as simple as adding your logo throughout the training, adding corporate imagery to the backgrounds, and even strategically placing some of your products in the videos.

Creating The Template

Once the content and messaging has been agreed, we’ll go into the studio and produce a handful of short excerpts. These will give you a better idea of what the final training videos will look like, and yet another opportunity to edit and tweak as needed.

The Final Product

The final videos will be produced and delivered a handful at a time, typically two or three. This is to not only give you enough time to review the final product, but to also make any last-minute changes to the remaining videos.

Depending on how many videos you’ll ultimately choose, this process will typically take four to six weeks from the creation of the approved video template. However, by focusing on delivering the most important videos first, you can be sharing those first videos with your employees within a couple of weeks.

What Else Should You Know?

From the final approval of the scripts, which we’ll generate for you, the time to completion is typically four to six weeks.
You’ll own the videos outright and will be free to use and share them as you choose.
We’ll always be available to update the videos as things change, from security challenges and threats, to new messaging and policies, to your brand and image.
All the videos can be made SCORM compliant and hosted on any LMS.
We’d love words of encouragement, on video, from your leadership, and we’ll work with you to get the right words and the best quality.
