This lesson introduces the audience to phishing attacks, how dangerous and devastating they can be, and how defeating them can be as easy as slowing down, recognizing the red flags, and not engaging. It also recommends that if the student, employee, or faculty member thinks the phishing email or text message might be genuine, to verify using a different source.
